There is a growing demand to identify the
new capital city of Andhra Pradesh well in advance. Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada-Guntur, Ongole, Kurnool, Rajahmundry and Tirupati are vying for the coveted honour. People from
different regions of Andhra want to see their own region as capital and
want to have development in their own aboriginal region. The only solution is, 'decentralizing' the development and to make sure of development happens
in the whole state (as per the population and the current
development). Otherwise people of rayalaseema will be disgruntled and ask
for a seperate state pretty soon.
